PRRC Awarded Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual Update Contract

The PRRC has been awarded a contract to update the Basic Asphalt Recycling Manual (BARM). The BARM was developed originally by the Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association (ARRA) and it includes technical information and guidelines on the use of four green pavement rehabilitation technologies: Cold planing, Cold in place recycling, Hot in place Recycling, and Full Depth Reclaimiation.The contract is funded by the Federal Highway Administration and the PRRC will work closely with ARRA members to deliver the updated edition of the BARM early next year.
